Dear HR,

Greetings for the day!

I joined a company 6 months ago and completed my probation, but haven't received confirmation from my employer yet. Recently, I had some issues with a senior and am concerned about the possibility of termination.

Please advise on what I can do if they ask me to submit my resignation.

Thank you.

It is not clear whether you have joined the technical cadre or non-technical. Also, it is not mentioned if you have joined the HR department or the Administrative Department (even though it is non-technical, it is really helpful to know the facts). Let it be.

1) How did you come to the conclusion that your senior will ask you to resign?

2) Find out the real cause for the misunderstanding: your efficiency, your thoughts about others, your over-qualification compared to the senior, your commitment, your accountability, and the ego parameter you possess since you have concluded that your senior will ask you to resign.

3) Who is the appointing authority? Is your senior the person delegated to appoint and terminate employees at will? Is he providing reasons for such actions, or is it done at the will and wish of the senior?

4) Make yourself adaptable to the position; never take things for granted or assume the worst. No weather is comfortable; you have to navigate the ship and reach the goal with prudence and a good attitude. Also, shed your ego as your comments suggest you jump to conclusions without fully understanding the situation.

5) Always be true to your work and organization.

Best of Luck...
