My previous employer gave me a bond for two years on a letterhead, not on stamp paper. I accepted it at that time. Unfortunately, after four months, I resigned. The company has not released my Gratuity Payment. Also, please help me understand if a bond without stamp paper is valid or not.

Hello,

To add to what Nathrao mentioned, gratuity is applicable to only those who complete approximately 5 years of service. I am not sure how you got the impression that you were eligible for any gratuity?

I have already completed 7 years of service. My previous employer gave a bond in the month of Mar '15 for two years on a letterhead, not stamp paper. I also accepted it at that time. Unfortunately, after four months, I resigned. The company has not released my Gratuity Payment. Please help me understand if a bond without stamp paper is valid. Could you also attach the letter? Kindly guide and advise me.
