Hi everyone. I need some required basic things for new business. I.e: What should be company policy?, Employment policy?, Employee poisoning structure, and authority. Something like company profile.

Kindly elaborate on your query. For example, provide information on your current location, the type of company you want to set up, the number of employees you will require for project completion, and whether the nature of employment is permanent or contractual. With these details, we will be able to assist you accordingly.

Thank you for your reply. As you suggested, the current location is Ahmedabad, and the company falls under the category of software development. For the compilation of my project, I will require 10-15 employees, including a project manager, team leader, and the rest as developers. The minimum probation period should be 6 months. Let me know if you need any further details.

First of all, you will have to register your company. Then, make arrangements for suitable premises, furniture, and all. You can hire a lawyer and a CA for legal formalities. If you want to hire an HR person, it's your decision. Policies can be designed according to your needs and employees' welfare.

Most IT companies have Saturdays off or alternate Saturdays off. You can hire on two bases: Permanent or contractual. You have to decide whether to hire a freelancer or not. For bringing in projects, a BDM will also be required. So, decide and design the company accordingly.

There are many policies such as leave policy, code of conduct, exit policy, and many other options as per requirements. You can research the above menu search option and edit it accordingly. If you need any further help, you can contact me.

Let's see what our seniors will suggest further... Good Luck!

I like your answer. I had registered a company in the government section. Also, work is starting, and from now on, we are progressing well. In the future, I need some proper solutions regarding new project approval with clients and terms that need to be maintained for employees regarding their work, leave, and all.

Holiday Declaration in India

As we all know, in India, there are a lot of festivals, and I am confused about which days I should declare holidays for the company. Regarding the same, how can I convince clients when our non-Indian clients do not have these kinds of holidays? In these cases, they may withhold our payment. Any ideas about this?

Hiring Legal or HR Advisors

And yes, as you suggested, should I hire a legal advisor or some HR person?

You should make a list of holidays in the current year, including the main religious festivals and national holidays. Then, you can forward your list of holidays to clients so that they can plan and schedule the work and provide you with the same in a scheduled manner. Furthermore, establish leave policies that discourage casual leaves by employees and require them to give prior intimation.

Consider creating teams of employees to work in job rotations so that each employee can work on every profile within the team. The team should aim to achieve specific targets within a set time limit, even in the absence of any member. To incentivize efficient and effective work, you can introduce some incentive plans.

Hope this will help you!

Deepti
