HRM stands for Human Resource Management, and you can refer to sources such as websites and books for better clarity on the subject. I don't believe that professionals will provide classes or teach you the basics of HR. Therefore, please feel free to ask questions if you do not fully understand any HR concepts while reading or implementing them in real scenarios.

Understanding HRM and Its Functions

Human Resource Management (HRM) comprises various issues related to recruitment, selection, training, development, career management, compensation management, work discipline, organizational structure, employee satisfaction, performance management, and many others. It should ideally be a strategic function as it can make a tremendous contribution to business results.

Unfortunately, we create confusion between the HRM department and the HRM role. The HRM department is an organizational setup responsible for evolving Human Resource policies, while the HRM role is everybody's responsibility in the organization. If you have at least ONE assistant, you are an HRM manager for them. This is unfortunately not understood by most managements.
