In the pharma industry, the batch process is such that we cannot implement a 5-day workweek. If it is possible, try to discuss this with your heads of departments (HODs), obtain approval, and prepare a report outlining the advantages and disadvantages. Seek approval from the management or the managing director (MD). Following this, conduct a meeting with all the HODs, explain the proposal, and discuss it with any unions you may have. After gathering feedback, make any necessary adjustments and then proceed with implementation.

Thank you very much for your kind response. In the pharmaceutical industry, the process is continuous for any product. However, as per our HR DGM, he insists that we make a proposal for a five-day working week only for administrative personnel who work in the admin building. As you also suggested, we will have a meeting with our union/plant staff.
