I would like to ask about a dispute with my previous company. I was working there for 5 months (not a confirmed employee). They are denying me an experience letter on the grounds of my chat history with a colleague, in which we discussed our problems with the company and spoke negatively about it. However, we did not take any actions to harm the company. We were sincere employees who took care of the company's image and clients, etc.
Can They Refuse an Experience Letter?
Can they refuse to provide us with an experience letter based on our chat history details, which were exchanged through the office email ID? They did not terminate me; in fact, I resigned on November 1, 2013.

Just send a written application to your ex-employer requesting them to acknowledge that you worked there from such and such date to such and such date. Although all of your dues are cleared, you have not been given an experience letter. Kindly request them to issue you an experience letter. Make sure to mention your complete and correct address along with your mobile number on it. Send this application through registered post to them. You will definitely receive a reply from them.
