Hi, I worked from 05/05/2015 to 03/04/2018 at HDB Financial Services. I have not received an experience letter, only a relieving letter. Now, my current organization is asking for it. I have emailed them many times but have not received a response.

Hi You need to check with that company. Nowadays most of the companies issue relieving cum experience letter as a single certificate.

Greetings, Mr. Waseem, You can use the same letter as the experience letter if your previous employer mentioned the work/service period in the relieving letter. Few companies provide a single letter for an Experience cum relieving letter.

We have received only a relieving letter, which does not mention the Date of Joining (DOJ). The current organization is asking for both DOJ and Date of Release (DOR). While we have the email from the previous employer, I have clarified that it can be used along with the salary slip for DOJ. However, they are now asking for my experience certificate.
