Dear all, I have completed a B.Tech in 2012 and now have almost one year of experience as an HR executive. However, the only confusion I have is that I don't have an MBA, which makes me ineligible for many organizations. Therefore, I am considering taking a Core HRM certification course. Will this certification be given importance? Will organizations accept this certification to further my career in HR without an MBA? Please advise me.

Thanks in advance.

Acquiring certifications and knowledge through such certifications is never a waste. You already have a B.Tech degree. The point is, if you are very much focused on pursuing HRM as a career, it is worth it. Companies look out for the best talent and top performers. Education will provide you with opportunities and a platform. Your knowledge and its wise application within the organization will contribute to the growth of the organization, and thus, you will also advance through your experience and learning.

Continue acquiring more knowledge as companies always appreciate knowledgeable individuals.

Thanks,

Well, Core HRM certification course is good and add value to your career in HR but it’s not equivalent to MBA so better if you first go for MBA and also do certification for Core HRM...

Yes, of course, an MBA is important, but I can only pursue my MBA after 2 years due to some problems. Until that time, I aim to obtain certification and gain knowledge in core HR. Please let me know if this certification will be valid without an MBA and if it can provide me with opportunities.
