Can any employer deny the transfer of a PF account from the previous company to the present one? My employer says the transfer is not possible as it is company policy not to entertain PF transfers. Kindly suggest what to do.

Yes, you can ask your present employer in writing and show that at the regional PF office. The PF inspector will take care of that company; otherwise, you can raise a grievance online. As per the act, you have transfer rights.

EPF Act and PF Transfer Requirements
As per the EPF Act, PF transfer is mandatory if you are employed in any factory or establishment to which the act applies for a continuous period of less than 2 months. According to the new EPF office circular, transfer form attestations made by either the previous employer or the present employer are valid.

no one has right to stop the transfer of PF account to present working company. just go to PF office and tell what was happening with your old organization , then they will take care of everything
