Hi Shweta,

Consultants recruit for money. I have been sometimes suggested or encouraged by consultants to show some fake experience on paper so that I can get the job in the company, and they can get their share of commission. Irrespective of whether the candidate qualifies or not, they send them to company premises, especially in ITES industries. Just in case he gets recruited, they get a chunk of money.

The same candidate registers on platforms like Naukri, Monster, TimesJobs, etc., and also with many consultants. So now the number of consultants is increasing, whereas the number of candidates is not. What I want to point out is that I have my resumes on Naukri, Times, and Monster, and each site boasts of having 2 lakh resumes, but there must also be many people like me who have multiple IDs. Therefore, the common factor needs to be taken into consideration.

Instead of paying a hefty amount to consultants, it is better to recruit one person for recruitments and follow my ideas for low-cost recruitment. Hehehe

Hello Shweta,

The major disadvantage of recruitment process outsourcing arises when the organization going for outsourcing does not chalk out the plan of the process to be followed. When the entire control is shifted to an outside agency, chances of failure increase due to the numerous activities involved in the process.

For further queries, write to me since we are handling recruitment assignments for PSUs and Government as well.
