Do you work for the MNC in which the manager works? If so, in what capacity? Why do you want to expose him/her?

But why do you want to expose the person and ruin his/her career? Do you have a grudge against that person?

Thanks for the reply again, No grudges but today we all are fighting for our carrier even for a single promotion but when you see someone cheating with the system and no one notice that, than it really feels bad, on the other hand there are such people who are getting promotions by showing everything fake experience.. then its obvious that a person with valid exp gets demotivated , so don't u think that one who has the valid experience deserves and should get that chance, and we should value that person too...

I do understand and appreciate your concern. I do not know about the background of the person. By exposing the person would you not be hurting his innocent family? Would you be gaining any direct benefit? I for one would not do it. May be someone who knows how to go about will guide you. I am based in the UK and do not know the procedure of informing NASSCOM.

thnx for the response, and i think by by giving such unfair chances to someone who do not deserve , the organisation is hurting someone else or their family too, so my concern was just giving a fair chance to be given to someone who deserves more, and bringing down the fake persons no matter how strong their personality is, or position is,..
and if you come up with a way kindly post me , ....
thanks for your suggestions and time.....have a great day ahead....:)

Dear Kaushal,

You have got three options - (a) to inform to the HR department of the company in which your friend works (b) to inform NASSCOM directly and (c) not to do anything and just keep quite.

You do not wish to follow the option (c). You have explained your viewpoint in the exchange of comments with Mr Simhan. That leaves out option (a) and (b). In either option, there is one more risk. Suppose the fraud of a person is exposed then the company will not only take action against fraudster but against the BG check agency for failing to detect the cooked up CV. This would be collateral damage.

Out of (a) and (b), I recommend you following option (a). But then think ten times before informing to the HR department of that company. Do you have 100% authentic information about the candidate or you have believed on what someone else has told you? While doing background checks utmost care is taken to ensure that fraudulent candidates are kept at bay. I am little surprised how come this candidate has hoodwinked BG check agency also. In many cases, these agency people personally visit the companies.

For Mr Simhan: - In your exchanges with Kaushal, you have written that perpetrator of the fraud be allowed to work unless one is not personally impacted by the fraudster's work. You say that fraudster's family will get affected if he/she is terminated from the job. Who should be more responsible towards one's family? Immediate family members or some third party? There is every possibility that this fraudster might have informed to his family members about his/her chicanery. In that case they were also privy to the fraud but they kept quite!

The first lesson of management is to think from head and not from heart Mr Simhan. India is in dire mess today because of the lack of stringency that Pt Jawaharlal Nehru had shown. In this case Kaushal wanted to be social watchdog though prima facie he does not have locus standi. Therefore, in my personal opinion, I recommend him following option (a).

Thanks,

Dear Dinesh,
I agree with your concern. However, many a time people do not tell their families everything that they do. I was only raising questions to understand the motive of the person in wanting to expose. I have exposed students that have cheated when I was certain about their crimes of copying. However, I would not take on the role of exposing everyone that has committed a crime. I do not consider that as my role. However, if others feel it's their role, they are free to do so.

Thanks Dinesh , that was really a satisfactory answer of my Question however, you will be surprised but i have tried option (a) , twice or thrice, but nothing happened , i left with no option but discussing it over here to get an accurate answer, and thats why i straightaway asked the procedure of Nascom, Mr Simhan also answered my question and i am thankful to him that he gave his precious time to answer my query,
so Mr Dinesh , i used to work with that person and every time i knew the reason why he/ She leaving and whose contact did he/She gave for the verification as his/her own good friends used to be his/ her manager and did a verification for this fraudulent, so I think u know where i am coming from, so thanks for puting up some light to this issue, and please guide me the procedure for option (b), and thanks Mr Simhan and Mr Dinesh..:)

Dear Kaushal,

If you are that hell bent then why not to write letter to the MD of that person's company? Send it by courier or registered post but give fictitious name and address. In your letter give specific details of where candidate has shown the fake experience.

I doubt NASSCOM will help you here. Yes, they maintain the registry of blacklisted candidates but then I doubt whether they do it on the recommendation of third party. They will do it only if the company conducts enquiry, finds the employee blameworthy and as a deterrence to the prospective fraudsters recommends to include the name of that employee in the registry.

Gurgaon is also major IT hub. You may have NASSCOM branch at Gurgaon. Find out the local number from their website and talk to someone who is from that organisation. Check what they say.

Let me reiterate you to be cautious once again because this is a question of one's career or even life as well. Are you doing all this out of animosity towards this person? Has this person done harm to you in any way or you are doing all this for the social justice?
