Hello everyone! I'm an MBA-HR student at NIT Durgapur. We need to submit a dissertation in our forthcoming last (4th) semester. The topic chosen by me is "Employee Engagement Activities in Public and Private Sector Organizations." Any help in this regard would be very obliging. Eagerly awaiting guidelines.

Employee Engagement Activities
Think along the following lines:
- Voluntary participation of employees in social services under the organization's banner.
- Individual employee participation in development programs through inbound and outbound training programs.
- Small activations such as monthly birthday celebrations, annual sports day, annual picnics, and annual family day, etc.
- During individual assessments, criteria should be linked to employees' participation in any such activities.
For any other details, please get back.

Thank you for the suggestions . Would the following suffice for a synopsis?
Synopsis of the Study
"The topic of study will be 'Employee Engagement Practices in a Public and a Private Sector Organization.' It will begin with a review of literature on Employee Engagement, proceeding to the various existing methods of the same. It will then focus on the different practices of engagement adopted in one Public and one Private sector organization. The study would bring out the differences in their impacts. Finally, it will wind up with conclusions and recommendations regarding the improvement of Employee Engagement."

Without knowing your institution's guidelines for your dissertation and requirements for a synopsis, it is difficult to say whether what you have said will suffice. If you know the organizations in which you will conduct the study, then clearly name the organizations. Do you know how you will collect the data, etc.; if so, state that too.
Have a nice day.

I intend to collect data from Alstom (Pvt) and Durgapur Steel Plant (public sector). As far as the notice in college goes, the requirements are to prepare a detailed synopsis, including a statement of expectations and requirements, a timeline for completion, and a description of what the project outcome would be. We need to include the "objective of the study" and specific "goals."

If that is the case, what you provided above is not sufficient. If you have a tutor, consult him/her. Also, see if you can obtain what your seniors have submitted as an example.
Have a nice day.
