Hi all, if someone can let me know the procedure for getting a provident fund, I have left my previous organization without any notice period, but I have an acceptance letter from my manager. When I applied for PF, HR informed me that I have to clear all my dues for final settlement, which is the whole month's gross salary. Is she correct or not? Kindly suggest me.
Thanks,
Yogender Singh

Yes, you need to go through your HR for Form 19 and 10C to withdraw your PF. Speak to HR and try to sort out this issue by showing the acceptance letter from your manager. Talk to your manager and ask him to waive the notice period. If worst comes to worst, you could approach legally, but it will take time.
