Hi everyone, I am an IT Engineer. I resigned from a Nasscom-registered company where I was working as a software developer for 5 months. Basically, I gave my one-day resignation through email only because it was necessary for me to join another MNC company within a week. I know it is not the proper way to resign from any company, but I was not left with any other option. However, they replied to me that they would put my name in the Nasscom Black Registry, which would ensure that I will not be able to get employment in any large Nasscom-registered company again.

Is It True?

I had not signed any bond of years with them. Also, no tasks were assigned to me. Currently, I am going to work on a different technology and domain as well.

I admit that my mistake was not serving any notice period, so it could be considered as 'absconding.' Therefore, please guide me on whether I will be blacklisted by them, and if it will hinder my chances of getting a job in the software field elsewhere.

Please guide me as I am just at the beginning of my career. Thank you.
