HR policies depend on the firm and vary from firm to firm. While framing one, consideration must be given to the nature of the industry, the number of employees, whether it is small scale or large scale, the company's mission statement, vision, management view, and the type of employment (contractual/permanent). After taking all these factors into account, an HR policy is formulated.
