Hi Ekta,

As I think and know, an Administrative job is a very responsible role. It holds power and provides various avenues to showcase one's management abilities. The administrative department is directly linked with management, employees, and local authorities. This position is considered the most powerful within the organization, even more so than HR (Personnel). Admin is also a part of HRD.

In my opinion, HR (Personnel) is more of a clerical job. Having a good understanding of statutory regulations makes HR (Generalist) a far better choice.

Thank you, friends, for your support. I also had the same query about HR and Admin. In my current organization, I am handling Admin and some functions of HR as there is no HR personnel in this company. I am feeling confused about what I should do in the future as I am getting married and will be settling in Delhi.

My heart is full of thanks.

Hi Friends,

Thank you so much for your suggestions. I am currently employed but I am looking to enhance my knowledge in HR Generalist profiles. I have a good understanding of all compliances, but I am seeking more in-depth knowledge in this area. Could you please recommend an institute that specializes in HR Generalist profiles? I would appreciate it if you could provide me with the institute's name and address.

Thanks

Hi to all subscribers on CITIHR,

My name is Parmod. I am working as an Admin Executive, and before this role, I worked as an Executive Personnel. I have completed an MBA in HR. Currently, I am a little confused about furthering my education and still uncertain about my career path in either HR or Admin, even though I am currently employed in a 5-star hotel.

With Warm Regards,

Parmod

According to my knowledge, you should pursue an LL.B. degree. As an HR professional or an Administrative Executive, HR professionals often deal with legal matters. By gaining a good understanding of the law, you will certainly enhance your skills and potentially secure a better compensation package.
