I am working For Ad Agency company as a Admin Executive, would like to know about the Total responsibility of a Admin person. Can someone help me please as i am very much new on this roll.

The role of an Administrative Executive in any company is very important in order to facilitate their internal and external customers, i.e., employees of the company and guests visiting the company. An Admin executive plays an important role other than production. They are responsible for all types of hospitality, which are necessities.

HR/Admin is responsible for the entire work of HR, which includes:

- Recruitment & selection
- Training & development
- Performance appraisal
- Employee retention
- Employee welfare
- Statutory compliance
- Liaison with Government officials, etc.

Administration activities include housekeeping, estate maintenance, security, travel & ticketing, pantry, etc.

Responsibilities also involve looking after day-to-day office activities, recording attendance, checking attendance register, managing the recruitment process, salary increments, counseling employees, preparing offer/appointment letters and various other letters, issuing them to employees, studying employee performance, motivating them, conducting in-house training sessions, and preparing various MIS reports.

Hi,

Key responsibilities for an Admin Executive are:
- Managing housekeeping staff & supplies (hygiene)
- Security of the premises (security guards, etc.)
- Tracking the movement of people & material – people by attendance, material by gate pass & authority
- Vendor management
1) Contract vendors for AC, repair work, travel & ticketing, purchases
2) Preparing purchases for offices and approvals

Many organizations may have other smaller items added, and a few of the above may be critical or not required. But basically, the General Admin person is responsible for the above activities.

The purpose of this question is unknown. You must be having the areas of operation and your responsibilities clearly outlined in your appointment order. A few companies combine HR & Admin, and a few do not (similar to my company where I am in charge of the entire administration).

In addition to that, the following are also the areas of responsibility for an Admin person:
- Housekeeping of plant and township
- Transportation
- Ticketing/Travel programs
- Recreation activities for employees
- Employee welfare
- Guest House management
- Mess Management
- Horticulture-related activities
