HR professionals have specific roles to play such as recruitment, training and development, performance appraisal and management, setting skills of personnel, grievance handling, preparing manpower planning for both existing and future needs, and sometimes HR interventions to correct issues within the organization and assist management in preventing further losses.
On the other hand, Administration deals with day-to-day activities like housekeeping, office maintenance, logistics, and sometimes involves tasks related to Central Excise and State Excise. Administrative duties also include liaising within and outside the organization, handling interactions with financial institutions, and other miscellaneous tasks assigned by seniors and management periodically. Some organizations also utilize administrative personnel for certain accounting activities, such as clearing payments to vendors, writing vouchers, and issuing checks.
