Hello Seniors,
I resigned from a company in July 2009. I could not apply for PF Withdrawal at that time. I had moved out of city last year. Now I want to apply for the withdrawal. Will there be any problems in that?? Is there any time limit to apply for withdrawal of PF Amount after resigning from an organization??
Regards,
Meetu

Hi Meetu,
How are you today?
See it doesnt matter whether you are in city or not and you can apply for the withdrawn of your EPF amount anytime. You just need to fill the form and post to the employer with a cancelled cheque and complete bank details i.e. Account number and bank name with branch, they will do the rest and you dont need to do anything else except following up with them.
After the submitting your form, need to check with your bank for the amount.
If any question in your mind and any query, feel free to write me.

Hi
You can withdraw PF anytime after 60days from the date of leaving by submitting form 19 to your previous employer. Pension amount can also be withdrawn provided your membership is less than 10 years else you have opt for pension after 58 years of age. If you withdraw PF after 5 years of leaving you may have to submit an indeminity bond to draw pf.
It is better to get it transferred if your working still.

Hi Meetu,
My suggestion is if you are in the city where your earlier employer exists, its better you go personally and get the work done. Because though employer has filed annual return, department may insist for earlier 3A.
