Some organizations these days do not issue appointment letters. In case the employees of such organizations appear for interviews elsewhere, how can they be accepted? Please suggest.

Hi there,
Any organization, as per labor law, should issue an employment contract or appointment letter stating the terms of employment to the employee. However, some organizations only provide an offer letter and do not issue an appointment letter. If an individual is not issued an appointment letter, they can obtain a relieving letter from the company. This letter would include the joining date, end date, last drawn salary, and designation.
Please let me know if this information has been helpful to you, or feel free to ask if you need more information.

Hi Everyone,
I am also facing the same issue. My company does not issue the appointment letter to those candidates whose wages are below 4150/-. In this case, either the candidate leaves the company or is frustrated by the management as they do not provide them with the appointment letter. So please suggest a solution for this.

Hi all,
Yes, I also agree to this. Rather, I am presently going through it. Actually, what happened is - I cleared the interview rounds for a post of Sr. Sales Executive with a very reputed Publishing House. But since the competition in the publishing industry is so high, even employers feared that news of my joining a competitor company would spread like wildfire. My previous company may try to bargain upon seeing the offer in black and white, and hence lose the candidate. Therefore, they skipped the offer letter and informed me of the calculations verbally. Even now that I have joined their organization for the last 15 days, they are still trying to delay the Appointment Letter by giving one reason or another.
Hence, I request all my friends that at least you all do not fall prey to these kinds of tactics and try to move forward as per the normal practices which we all have been following for ages.
