Dear Friends,

Thanks for providing employee law in PDF. However, I understand that the material posted in this thread is authored by a renowned personality on labor laws, Mr. H.L. Kumar, and is published in his books and labor law reference, which is a copyrighted material. The PDF file does not even acknowledge the author and reference. Is it correct and ethical on our part?

Open for comments from all my respected members.

Hi Shahbaz.hashmi,

Thank you so much; it's really very good stuff and useful for me. Can you please guide me on the followings? My H.O. is in N.Delhi, and I am at Angul's Power Plant. We are getting our salary from HO. This plant has just started, i.e., land acquisition work is in progress. There are 25 employees here whose PF is being deducted from HO. We have obtained the Principal Employer Certificate.

Now, what registers need to be maintained, and what returns need to be furnished from the Angul Office? Expecting your suggestions.

Thanks,
Shankar Bibhuti

Thank you; that was a very useful tool. Does anyone have any information or a PDF on the basis for which one can sue or take the company to court for dismissing an employee or asking them to resign without valid proof of poor work performance?

It is disgusting on the part of an HR professional to evade copyright and keep posting others' creations. If one cannot produce anything of their own, it is better to leave the forum at least - if not, leave the profession for obvious reasons.

I strongly condemn and endorse the views of Mr. Anil Kaushik.

You have to ensure that the person who has worked 48 hours in a week, and if works beyond 48 hours in that period, is to be paid twice the normal rate of wages. If he works less than 48 hours in a week, the period up to 48 hours is to be paid at a single rate. For national holidays, the rate shall be twice the normal wages, and for one holiday, it means three times his normal wage.
