Hi,
This is rightly said by Rashmi , MCI Guide line needs to be follw.. For recruitement , It is totally different than any other corporate..There are specifice criteria for Professor, associate PRofessor , Asst.Professor & Tutor.. Even for the paramedical staff and other staff .. there is a specifica criateria prescribed by MCI.. No man power planning from our side can run.. MCI has their own criteria.. for the first year of medical college Total manpower requirement is 110 ( Only doctors) & after completing five year requirement goes to 310..
Retentional toold , Compention Package , training is completly different than any other corporate..
Some time management knows that , medical faculties for specific branch is not performing well, still because of scarcity of senior faculty, you can not retrench them.. other wise there will be a scracity of medical faculty which MCI can not tolarate...
I had a small but good exposure in both medical college and Hospital... It was transaction phase from Government to Private..
Further information ... you can contact me on
