Dear All,

I am requesting everyone to please provide me with the sample letter format for full and final settlement under the following circumstances:

1) Recovery from the employee (Notice period)
2) Payment to the employee

I have to send this letter to resigned and terminated employees at their residential address along with a separate copy of the full and final settlement break-up. Please suggest a suitable format for both conditions.

Bharti

Dear Bharti,

None of the labor laws have provided us with the format for full and final settlement. You are free to prepare your own format showing the details of the amount to be paid under different headings and then provide the details of statutory deductions before writing the net full and final payment.
