Hi all of u HR buffs, Iam disigning a new Induction program for my company. Can someone share their HR induction contents with me.

Can you pls speciafy what exactly are you looking in for. Cause each company would have their own induction plan as per to the type of industry.
Basically Induction means:
The act or an instance of inducting.
A ceremony or formal act by which a person is inducted, as into office or military service.
Presentation of material, such as facts or evidence,.
A formal entry into an organization or position or office; "his initiation into the club"; "he was ordered to report for induction into the army"
So induction though the process is the same but will have variations in different organizations.

Induction Program is basically making an smooth entry of an employee in the organisation, making an outsider an insider,
we normally have 3 step induction process
1) brief candidate about the company, done by HR
intro about company hisory,mission stmnt. , vision of the company.
orgsn culture,
basic governing employment policies.....
2) Introduction of employee to department head,
dept head explain job functions, key tasks,reporting levels, intro to allcolleagues and concerned in dept.
3) follow up with employee
after 1 month, follow up with employee regarding the understanding of employment policies of company and his job responsibility.
earlier in this forum, one of our colleague had attached the induction orientation checklist document,

When candidate Joins (On first day)

1) Before the joinee would join we need to provide the follows.

a) Identifying your workstation with requisite infrastructure like computer, web access etc.

b) Domain login id, password

c) Request email ID

d) Introduction to the company Intranet

e) Stationary / Telephone

f) Visiting Cards

g) Badge / Swipe Card

h) Cell phones strap

i) Employee Contract Signing

j) T Shirt / Calendar

2) When candidate reports on the first day, send WELCOME MAIL / WELCOME NOTE to all associates.

3) Inform the new joinee about the documents required for completion of JOINING FORMALITIES (Stated as follows).

a) Acknowledged Copy of Appointment Letter & CTC

b) Associate Hand Book Undertaking (duly signed)

c) Personal Information Form (duly filled)

d) Experience & Reliving Letter from all Last Employer(s)

e) Photocopies of all your Educational & Other Professional Qualifications

f) Two passport Size Photographs with negative

g) Photocopy of Driving License

h) Photocopy of Passport

i) Completed ICICI Bank account opening form.

j) Latest salary slip / Form 16 from last employer.
