My company is asking me to recover pay recovery amount after sacking me which is almost my 2 months salary.

Due to my ill health during the time of Covid, I was terminated from my job.

How can notice pay recovery is applicable to my termination? Also, they didn't inform me that they terminated me by any message or nay call. A simple email and will sent my termination letter to the wrong address.

What should we do now? Should I initiate legal action against them as company officials are ignoring my calls and emails.

Dear Colleague,
First of all Termination during covid sickness is not at all admissible legally as well as morally. No legal case will stand if such things done by any employer which is very cruel act. If some one done this it is totally wrong.

No Notice pay recovery is applicable or admissible on such case. You just give a suitable reply through your Advocate to the company so that they will withdraw such notice pay recovery intimation back.

Look for next employment than to raising other legal cases ( other than defending the notice pay recovery action by the employer) as it is a futile one and long term fight. Concentrate on your job search and forward and march for a new life which will be a better place for you instead loosing energy in non-constructive activities. God Bless!!!
