Learn through case studies (practical as well as theatrical) this help you to know the right application technique.

Secondly as mentioned before in this thread, have through knowledge on Company Policies, Local Laws. This will improvise your confidence in the interpersonal skills.

As we will deal with human begin the most expensive component of Management we can't treat them as robot at the same time we can't take all decision emotionally
We have to balance employee and organization goal at same time
We should be practical and at same time kind heart because practical can solve the all problem but your kind heart can win trust of employee they will help you when you need most
For communication with employee please read the book "How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie"

Courses will upgrade your knowledge and when you start working you understand to apply them
That why it is right side "Don't ask someone to teach but start learning"
