Hi Daksh Shah, Being strong and thorough in subject and good in interpersonal skills will help you to become more powerful in HR.
Act as a bridge between the employee and the management. An HR must be empathetic and has to always look for the optimum solution to resolve the issue among the management and the employee.
Try to be thorough with the HR policies and be a live wire between the Management and Employee
First of all , always expect unexpected things. That will helps to improve your live problem solving skill and mangerial skill. Everyday try to learn a new things. Because every second the world will be changing their faces.

Human Resource is a behavioral science.
Learn through case studies (practical as well as theatrical) this help you to know the right application technique.
Secondly as mentioned before in this thread, have through knowledge on Company Policies, Local Laws. This will improvise your confidence in the interpersonal skills.
