Dear Member,
I am handling the HR department of an IT company with an employee size of 40 people. We already have a process in place for announcing the core value winner of the month/employee of the month. I just want to give a physical certificate along with our normal award process of giving the prize money and a half-day leave in their account (as per company policy). Giving a physical certificate will help me showcase some of the attractive employee engagement activities that we already do in our organization. It can be one of the recruitment tools for attracting good talent.
Any suggestions or feedback will be appreciated. I would like to review any disadvantages I might encounter while doing this.

Hi,
Greetings!!!
There is no need to be afraid of taking action in HR. I appreciate your research before implementing any HR practices for rollout. Employee recognition in any form always benefits the organization. I suggest following the six sigma concept of "JUST DO IT."
Always keep one thing in mind - recognize those who deserve it, not everyone. Recognizing everyone will dilute the impact of the recognition program. Identify the selection criteria and validate the selection for rewards and recognition. Never cease this activity, as it will provide long-term benefits to the organization.
All the best!!!
