Does an Employer Need to Pay Bonuses During Maternity or Sick Leave Under ESIC?

Need clarity whether the employer has to pay bonus for the period where the employee is availing leave ( Maternity leave or Sick Leave) under ESIC .

Dear Kumarvel, Bonus under The Payment of Bonus Act, 1965 need not be paid when Employee is under ML Under ESI Bonus to be paid on actual Earnings/Salary earned during Financial Year
