Help is needed ! i have a subordinate on my team who never listens and acts based on given instructions and this is causing fights on daily basis, moreover she has a huge gap in reporting incidents and listening. Please advise.
Dear Mirael,
Problems of this kind arise because of lack of interpersonal skills, listening skills etc. Partially it is a recruitment problem also. Why interviewer failed to identify these weaknesses in the candidate?
Manager of the said employee may call privately and give her feedback. She may be told that it is not just technical skills but supporting behavioural skills are also important to improve one's career. If she does not get along with others, she could put her career in jeopardy.
