I have recently joined a company and am looking to kickstart the appraisal process soon. The company is a startup and currently does not have any defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
I would appreciate assistance in establishing KPIs and acquiring a suitable format for the appraisal forms for the following verticals:
- Business / Data analytics
- Sales Team
- Support Team
- Development Team

You cannot have Performance Appraisal (PA) processes that differ based on designation. The PA form remains consistent across the organization, as does the policy on PA. What differs are the Key Result Areas (KRAs), which originate from Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
First, you need to define the KPIs for your business, then derive the KRAs for each department. Conduct the PA after three or six months. Before conducting the PA, you must provide each individual with their KRA sheet at the beginning of the PA cycle. This brings complete clarity to the PA process.
