This is Kritika Rawat, HR Executive at xxx Solutions Pvt. Ltd.(working from last 3 months). I am seeking for knowledge in the procedure of Tax Deduction including Income Tax File, Tax paying to Government, Form 16 and Tax Return.
My Ques are:
1. How do we start the process. (we have TAN number)
2. How to pay Tax of employees to Government?
3. What is the format of Form 16, When we should pay it to employees and does it need any government stamp?
4. How to fill Income Tax Return?
Please If you can give me brief practical knowledge about above things so it would be easy for me to pursue it in my company.

TDS & anything related with income tax is handled by Finance/Accounts department. If still you have to deduct how will you calculate and deduct? Do you know the entire calculations of TDS? Any assistance you can reach me

Dear Friend , TDS is not fall under HR .It is separate subject . Mainly Finance & Accts Dept. who are qualified and experienced under TAXATION subject , they take care . Regards

Hi Krithika If you want to receive the TDS certificates you have to submit the periodical TDS returns after deducting the TDS & remitting to the Income Tax Department.
