Hi,

Currently, I am in the commitment period with my company, which is set to end on July 31st, 2015. However, they have not mentioned anything about the notice period (the notice period is two months) in the commitment letter. Additionally, there are no details about the commitment period or bond period provided in their HR Portal.

My question is, can I resign two months before my commitment period ends so that I can serve the notice period within the commitment period?

Thank you.

You mean to state that your current employer had a 'commitment' period which meant you had to serve that out? This is illegal. So, you can serve the 2 months prior to the completion of the commitment period.

Why not go and ask the HR department what the rules are on this.

Why create trouble and possible repercussions on your career when it's easy enough to go and speak to HR about it. What they say is what you have to do.
