Performance Appraisal Guidance Needed

This is Kishorkumar from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. I work as an HR professional in an engineering firm. My company has assigned me the task of conducting performance appraisals for the purpose of increments. The majority of employees here work as machine operators and helpers, with a ratio of 20:1 for a few of them at the next level of operators. Additionally, there are 15 female laborers responsible for packing and housekeeping duties.

I am seeking guidance on where to begin the performance appraisal process and how to create the assessment format for evaluating their performance over a month. I have a deadline of one month to complete this task, and the increment decisions will be based on their performance during this period.
