As I'm new to the HR profession, my superior told me to go through the labor laws and their case studies and to inform him to take discussions on that. Please let me know if labor laws get amended every year. Also, guide me on how to gain knowledge in labor laws. If possible, could you share the documents related to labor laws so that it will be helpful for me to take his test?

Dear member, you can get information regarding various Central labour laws as applicable in India from the website of the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Central Govt. Study the same and try to see whether they are applicable in your unit and if so, whether compliance is being made.
So far as State Labour laws are concerned, you can get the same from the website of the labor department in which State your unit is located and see if compliance with said laws is being made properly in the unit.
In case of any specific doubt or question, you can raise it in this forum for appropriate comments by the seniors/experienced HR people in this forum.

So far as State Labour laws are concerned, you can get the same from the website of the labor department in which State your unit is located and see if compliance with said laws is being made properly in the unit.
