Dear all,

Sometime back, I was searching for a training flow chart in this forum but could not find a satisfactory one. Subsequently, we developed one internally. I am attaching the same for the use of somebody who would like to have it. I would also appreciate valuable feedback from members.

Thanks & regards,
Sunil

Dar Sunil,

Congratulations for a very comprehensive training flowchart - very well explained. However, the only point I beg to differ on is when you say STOP. I believe that training is a continuous process; there can never be an end to training. Does this STOP apply to one training cycle?

Hi Kirti,

Thanks for your comments and encouraging words. Regarding the stop symbol - in a flowchart, every process should have a start and finish (stop). Therefore, it is only symbolic in nature. As you rightly said, training is a continuous process in reality.

Thanks,

Hi Sunil,

I feel that training is a continuous process and the flow chart should not end at "STOP" after reward. The loop should go back to review and training need assessment. I believe if someone is capable of improving his/her performance after training, there is potential in that employee for further growth. You can further invest in this employee, thereby retaining the employee by providing proper growth and development.

I think this way you can also address today's major concern for HR to retain talent.

Dear Sunil,

Excellently done. May I add that you might have gone a step ahead for career planning and training for the same, which would bring in employee satisfaction and bring down attrition rates.

Thanks and regards,
CM Raj

Hi Sunil,

You have made a very good training flow chart, but the thing I want to say is regarding "stop". According to me, this stop should not be there. Another suggestion I have is to consider adding "refresher training" to this module.

It's just a suggestion.

Thank you.
