I want to know that I don't have an MBA in HR degree, but I have 3 years of experience in administration, work control, office coordination, and 2 years of experience in marketing as a sales executive with good product knowledge. Currently, I am working as a recruiter with a consultancy. However, I aspire to work in HR. Is it compulsory to have an HR degree to secure a job in HR?

No, an MBA in HR is not mandatory. It will only enhance your chances of selection and promotion in the future. Appropriate job knowledge is enough for the position; however, graduation is required as a basic qualification. This also depends on the company and your work experience.

I would suggest you get a degree in human resources from a reputed institution to enhance your skills in this field. Alternatively, you could receive training from a premium institution in human resources.
