Hi all,

I have over 8 years of experience. For the past 4 years, I have been working in an MNC call center. Earlier, I was working in the software field for 4 years as a trainer. Now, I am unable to continue working in the call center. Although I am well-paid, it is becoming difficult to work in shifts. At this stage, can I move back to the software field? Kindly advise on what I should do.

Regards, Ramesh

Hi,

First, please tell us in which field you are working. Yes, you can shift to software, but it depends on the profile you are handling in the current company. If you want to change your field, then you need to update yourself.

Thanks,
Pallavi.

Well Ramesh,

Ask your HR that you desire to be in HR, and go into HR.

If you work in a call center, you can't work elsewhere. But no matter where you work, you can always get a job in a call center.

Hi Ramesh,

You can always change your work stream; aren't there people who have come out of call center jobs to their dream jobs or desired jobs? Just that you need to convince people about your inclination towards the relevant field. And this time you have to be extra careful in choosing your field. You should be able to judge yourself for the change and should also have hands-on knowledge about software methodology.

I wish you luck and suggest you go ahead with your aspirations.

Regards, Rekha.
