Respected everyone,
Recruitment Process Based on Academic Qualifications
The recruitment process we follow is entirely based on academic qualifications. If a student has 90% marks, they are declared an excellent student. Marks of 80%, 70%, and 60% are tolerable, but below that, students are not even allowed to sit for an interview. According to me, a student who secures 90% marks is undoubtedly dedicated, but they may not necessarily be intelligent. On the contrary, students securing 55% and less are often careless, study the night before the exam, and perform satisfactorily.
Potential of Students with Lower Marks
What I want to say is—if a careless student becomes dedicated, they can easily achieve 90%. Need is the source of dedication, and in the corporate world, everyone comes because of a need. This implies that a student with 55% marks may perform better in the corporate world. So, why are these students not given a chance in most college campus placements when it comes to top MNCs?

While I agree that what you say is correct and that percentage does not determine your intelligence, courtesy of our education system, this does show a person's dedication and speaks for a person. This is a criterion to determine the dedication and hard work an employee can put in because of the consistency they have shown in the past. Again, this is not a hard fact. The reason why companies look for that while on campus is because they want to know how serious you are about your career and your effort to study. As in the film "3 Idiots," people do not study to learn; they study to earn!
Thank you.
