Creating an HR Policy Manual

Depending on the company's strength, you can create an HR Policy manual. For instance:

- Company Introduction
- Position Category
- Office Rules
- Office Timings
- Probation Period
- National Holiday Calendar
- Compensatory Off Policy
- Annual & Medical Leave Policy
- Termination Policy
- Appraisal Policy

I would suggest framing the above items only after discussing them with the entire management team.

I am Abhay, and I am also working in a small IT company. HR policies are nothing but the documentation of the procedures the company intends to follow. But while framing HR policies, we have to be very careful about the content, language, and coverage of the HR policies. Coverage is crucial because in some small companies, the owners do not want to be bound by these policies. Therefore, we have to draft the policies carefully.

The policy contents include leave policy, traveling expenses policy, training policy, etc. The policies should be clear and firm. It's actually a broad topic, but you can find more details on this site itself.

ALL THE BEST for your search and work.

Abhay
