Recruitment tools can be a job portal, employee referral, campus recruitment, etc. Every recruiter would choose one/more tools based on his requirement.

That was a great way of giving an answer to the question. I shall visit the site myself. HR practitioners must know that the HR field is still a growing field were most practitioners just find themselves working in it. The need then arises to educate yourself along the way. The longer you have spent in the industry the more exposed you are. One must not discourage new practitioners in the field from learning what they do not know. John in Oz take note of that.

As someone rightly mentioned,job portals, employee referrals, campus recruitments are the various tools which we use depending upon the requirement. Out of these employee referal and campus recruitment are the most cost effective (neglegible cost) followed by the portals where you have an option of subscribing to the different available packages for getting access to the CVs available in the portal ( Naukri is generally preferable). In case of critical profiles you can always take the services of Recruitment consultants.

And yes about recruitment tool - A tool has every features lies under the recruitment process and starts from generation of the opening and works till candidates join.
