Hi Ridhi,

A HR Generalist is a kind of Admin and is responsible for overseeing Salary, PF-ESI, Personal Files, all types of Billing, and attendance as well. They are the main person responsible for managing CL, EL, and all leave statuses, issuing Identity cards and other goods and facilities to employees for records and MIS, and also assisting in recruitment if needed. This is a very responsible position.

Hi Anil,

Thank you for the reply, but the link you had sent says: "Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms."

Once again, thanks for the help. I did get the answer to my queries from the search engine. I am new to HR, so I was not very familiar.

Hi Ridhi,

Whether you refer to him as "HR Generalist," "Manager - HR," "Manager - Personnel & Administration," or any other title, his role is to oversee the stages of employment, namely, recruiting, retaining, and retiring employees.

The job of an HR professional entails:
- Hiring the right candidate for the right position at the right time.
- Motivating and appreciating employees during their tenure.
- Ensuring a peaceful retirement for them at the end of their service.

In my previous posts, I shared a handbook on various formats ranging from appointment to retirement. If you have any questions or need clarification, feel free to reach out to me.

Hi, Ridhi.

HR Generalists are one of the most exciting profiles. The HR Generalist profile will involve a combination of various HR sub-functions. Apart from recruitment, they will also actively participate in Performance & Training. For any beginner looking to start in HRG, it is the best option. It also involves transactional work in HR.
