Hi there, can anyone tell me how to maintain the Factories Act register? This includes the bonus register, adult workers register, leave register (Form B), Form 15 register, Form 17 health register, and many more. Please help me understand which register the inspector or officer may ask to see during an inspection. This is urgent.

How to Maintain Registers
Your question on "HOW TO MAINTAIN REGISTERS" is not valid. As per the Act and State rules, you need to maintain the registers. Once you see the register, you will understand the columns to be filled. When DCIF comes, he will check Form 25, Form 15, Form 1, and the Inspection register. When the PF inspector visits us, he will ask for PF-related registers. When the ESI inspector comes, he used to check the half-yearly returns status and the monthly contribution status as of the date. That's all. Please try to update the registers on a monthly basis at least. Prepare a checklist and stick it on your table.
