u can search candidate from linkedin and u can take refrences from them.

till date I have always recruited candidate's from the leading job portals and references! But now in my present organazation there is no job portals for recruitment process! I want to know some other ways of recruiting apart from using the job portals. Can anyone help me pls.......

Recruiting perfect candidates actually depends on what requirement you are filling. Here are a few techniques my company uses
1. Tie up with consultants
2. Managing affiliate & sourcing partners. You share requirements and they source for you. Bring in affiliates from different regions. And you have a wide variety of candidates to choose from.
3. The age old dependent technique of Portals
4. Social networking a big method. Reach out on Linkedin, Ryze, Orkut, Facebook, etc
5. Cold Calls
6. Many of these search engines like Just dial have packages where in they would refer your company when a enquiry comes in. So that is a pipeline that you will always have.
