Mamta,
Its been a hot conversation threaded down the line...
If you prefer stating that you have changed the job 4 times in a year, it will not be that easy for you to get into a good company where they look for consistency. My little advice is that you can state that you have been working as a free lancer in the same field with supporting knowledge and details. Now you are looking to get into a good company for better compensation and growth.
Chill down yaar. I appreciate your level of confidence but let me remind you that you are just one year old in your field. You have lot to learn and to go.
Anyway, All the best... ;)

@ramesh: Am really sorry if I hurted you by saying something, but I thought it was a discussion. I am extremely sorry, I was putting my point of view, I ddnt meant to hurt anybody's perception.
I accept in this forum there might be more than 100HR people who might not recruit me, but then I cannot lose the hope like this. I am sure my way of saying (I mean words out here) can be wrong, which is making you end the conversation with me out here, but then you being as an experienced HR, I would request you to please guide me. I might be lacking something which as per your advices/suggestions can be improved. I'll be really greatful to recieve your advices/suggestions. That's all I have on my part.

Dear Mamta,

I am talking from the management side, like I always did.

Stability is one of the major scenarios in selecting Resumes. 4 switchings within one year sounds a high form of instability.

My first question is: Why didn’t you consider all those excuses before you join in each company? Or what type of company study you did before join there? The Distance, Family, Bike, Bus, Boss, Blah, Blahblah, … errrrrrr… We are tired of hearing this.

The last question is: You are trying to find another job, right? That means the 5th one within ONE year! You want to leave the present employer, and you started to circulate your CVs. It was then you were disqualified, right?

By the way, you didn’t say why you want to leave your present employer (Infrastructure Company). Poor People, they don’t know this newly joined candidate is in a hurry to leave the company even before setting up a PC for her. That means, they are paid for their mistake as selecting a candidate with instability!

I am not here with any advice. Ms. Ash Mathew has already come up with the BEST! Please follow her words.

A single doubt: You are member of citeHR from September 2007. What did you learn from these highly motive, sincere, and experienced members of citeHR for last 2 years?? (I am very new to citeHR, and feeling very sorry that I didn’t know about this 2 or 3 years before!)

Finally, during 7 years of my overseas career (forget 5 years career in India), I switched 3 major organizations. Still I am little frustrated thinking about questions of instability from my interviewers! I dare to tell any of them: “new offer from another organization compelled me to move on even I loved my previous job very much!”

“First we make our habits, and then our habits make us.” I didn’t say, Charles C Noble said.

@Mammu: Thanx sir for telling me the facts. But I guess, you didn't read me later posts. I have changed 3companies & the 4th one where am working is getting closed because of certain which I wouldnt like to mention here.
The answer to your first question is: we were told of being provided with cab facilities but then because of some company problems they ddnt provided this. They kept on saying that they are managing another cab for us. I managed 4months but then couldnt coz my health deteroiated like anything. I wanted to work with that firm, but....my health condition ddnt allowed.
The answer to the next question is....the present company am working with is fully aware about my steps. I have a healthy working culture in this company. As already mentioned, I wont leave this company, but if it closes then what?

I appreciate to what Ms.Asha mathew has said, its highly appreciatable.

Yes afcrouse am a member from September 07 but then am not regular to the cite. (facts remaining that its one of the best sites i came across).

Hi Mamta,

Indeed your terrible situation has rest you in such a situation undesiring to many of the few who would understand it....Lets see the brighter picture on your cause...Firstly, I would be very straight to tell you that: In searching for a job, one must find and one must decide whether it would either suit you or not in a matter of span of time (let say 1 year)..psychologise your self: Am I ready for this and thus my body able to carry this roles...?

Secondly the decision to choose such companies must be balanced by both your personal desire to complete it and the packages of offer it wills to give you....this are matters to serious to quest for an answer...due to the fact that they are basic needs from the hierarchy of A. Maslou paradigm...Think of it as a reflection...an oooooopen book to know you better..

Thirdly, your existense to stand in trouble and challenges much be handled in a maturity...say for instance, shiftings and conflicts are manage in many elements of solutions...involvement also of your love ones in the circle of your job hunting, job satisfaction, job security and job adjustment must be at all cost be considered...

Tough Mr. Mamta, but I am certain when these matters are being consider by you,,,,your proper dealing on packs of uncertainties and huge pile of challenges will be more refine and compose in the end of the day (inshaAllah)..!!! My salutation and good luck to your endeavours...bye for now to you Sir.

Here i would like to make you clear on one topic, put your self on the other side of the table and u have received the same profile like yours and will u like to call the profle for interview or not. if so then decide yourself what you have to decide....

Here you can take a call, i can only say you that where you are working at present try to work with them for some more time and gain some stability in your resume and then look for change.

Changes only makes the person to gain more and more knowledge and perfect too, here i would like to say you that "Success is not a matter of chance but of choice..." first you have done a misatke of choosing your first break and lost your career because of your family and health reason and "the difference between the impossible and the possible lies in a mans determination" you might have decided before accpeting your first offer....

Coming to your second break you left because of your Boss, instead of leaving the Organization you would have follow what Ash Mathew have told you in the same mail...."to be conscious that you are ignorant of the facts is a great step to knowledge" you would have tried to gain the knowledge what your boss have but you have focus only your boss ego...see Leaders are Ordinary People with Extra Ordinary Determination"

Champions dont become champions in the ring they are merely recognized there....they are recognized when other people will follow the Champions everywhere, its only out of curiosity.

i can only say you that if you want to lead yourself use your head, or if you want to lead others then use your heart.

dont mistake me by saying you all these, just want to explain you that people need a goal to Galvanize them....you do the same

I agree with Ash and Ramesh commnets and all the very best for your bright future...
