I think that now that the employee has left the company, their is no meaning in again wasting time & money by taking legal action against it.

Dear All,
I was working in a company since march 2012 and left the company on jan 2013 with out any notice period. I have spoken and sent resign letter to my manager. now they are marking me absconding.... what should i do?

Hi Suman :
You would have got better response if you created a new discussion thread. You have posted your query against a discussion thread with is of 2009.
Suggest please create a new thread. Meanwhile to share my inputs well did you send resignation before leaving or after leaving and within how much time of leaving.
If you left the organisation without resigning or intimating anyone then the company is following the correct process by considering you as an absonding employee.
I suggest please meet the HR of the company and submit the resignation and obtain all clearances and the experience/relieving letters etc. If required you can pay the notice period amount as well.
