Dear All,
I have resigned from my previous company with 8 days' notice, although the notice period is 60 days. I presumed that 52 days' salary would be deducted. I have 116 EL days which the company is supposed to pay me. However, in my Full and Final Settlement, they have deducted the full salary for 52 days and are only giving the basic amount against the 116 EL days.
I have requested the following:
1) Either deduct the notice period from EL and pay me the balance days, such as EL (116) - Notice Period (52 Days) = 64 days' salary.
Or
2) Deduct only the basic amount against the notice period.
The difference in the amount is approximately 1.0 lakh. Please advise.
