Hello Shweta,
i just want to suggest one thing to u,do not take it this way that you are not performing well or ur seniors are not happy with u.
Just concentrate on your work and give ur best.
And never feel so insecure about your job, look its all about your capaility and the way u manages everythg,if u r good people would love to work with u and company's do require good employees.
Just be sure about what u do.
Do not ask them as such about your feedback, work with the attitude that they selected u bcoj u were good.
Am sure this will sort out the issue.
Just give it a try....

Hello,
I think in new organization if no body listens you or give some knowledge its better to leave. Because this will cut your personal development. Tell me what you learn so far from new organization

dear Swetha,
this was the same case of mine when i was joined in a company as a intern 4 two months, where i was not given much work and when i asked them for any work they jus say no work now. this may be as i was intern over there.

but later on i again nad again asked them 4 any work then they gave me some ;responsibility. what i suggest you is jus go and talk to ur immediate boss and ask 4 some responsibility, m sure they will give you some or other..

i hope ma suggestion was usefull 4 u...

Regards

hi i agree with Mr. Sanjeev Himachali.
SHweta, dont judge yourself by someone's expression, i too have gone such problems, never let ur emotions control you, commit yourself to excellence in every areas of ur work.
Also, if u are free, u can do one thing..think which will help u r load..which willn ot need approval of ur boss,, say for eg u are in recruiting, maintaing personal files of the staff, snce you are free, u can start mainting data base of theseemployeees, fil all the ifnormation pertaining to them in asheet, this wont help u now..but will defintely help u when the information is needed from ur end and uare able to produce it immeidately.
similarly u can even start sending emails to the staff on their birthday, think if u are in charge of updating staff of every change how would u inform them..
My advice is never fall victim to emotions. they will never help u rationalise a situation. and dont worry for now.. do ur best with passion and commitment and then leave the results..it would definetly fantastic..

Karm karo fal ki apeksha mat karo...from Lord Krishna.. :)

Also if possible join some assertive skill workshops..it will help u ..to deal with situation better..and read books..improve ur knowledge.

All the best.. i am sure u would be able to do it.

Hey Shewta , Happy thursday !

From what you have written it seems you have become very negative in your approach.
Boss don't forget you are working in HR Department and as per my defination of HR is not Human Resource but Happening & Rocking Department. So motivate your self first and change your attitude be positive . Every morning is a gr8 morning so charge urself by doing some power yoga or gyming . Go for a total makeover ,change your wardrobe n shop for some smart clothes which should make you feel fresh . N more over never have a fear of loosing your job , as you are HR your self you always have the labour law @ your help. but that is only for extrem cases. In your case you need not worry about your job. Just organise your self a bit . n try to do things which you are extremly good at. I think this should be enough for today . still if you want some more gyan or feel like speaking to a friend you can always call me on my cell +91-9867790284.

Best regards
Have a rocking day !

Hi shwetha,
You are taking ownership and responsibility for your work and that is great. You cannot always concentrate on what other people think and what they feel. Try not to derive strength from outside try to concetrate on gaining strenght from within.if you are okay with your feelings and inner self then may be you will have a different view towards your collegues. Try to think that ur relationship with everyone is fine and it will definitly turn out so. It also becomes a bosses responsibility to given you an outward feedback about your performance and help you achieve your target. As far as your work is concerned if you feel you are on the right track and putting 100% you are and you dont need to be worried about anything else. Other people have their own issues to deal with so dont worry, be positive and things will turn around for you.

Hi Sweta,

I think you have joined your new company very recently, so just wait & watch...because in each & every company they have to do the perfomance appraisal, where after completion of that it's necessary to make the evaluation....so whenever you seniors will do that eveluation, then you will easily come to know their opinion.....and whatever task you are performing on daily basis, just make make a note of all those....because whenever any evaluation will be done, at that time they will ask you all those....at that time you should have some position points about urself in ur hand....i think you have got my point...

and sweta keep patience & try to see from a employer's point of view....it's not necessary that everywhere the organisation culture will be same....so don't do any kind of comparison....you just put it in your mind that you have to work for this company & you have to prove urself so that they will bound to show respect for ur job.....& don't give suggestions to anyone whoever you want....you just search out those persons who are ready to listen & they only give your valuable suggesstions to them...

I would suggest networking. Ask the senior you are most comfortable speaking to for some of their time so that you can unload ur worries in a diplomatic and friendly way (dont whine). Prepare urself for what you are about to say so that you sound confident and are taken seriously. If your treatment is still the same, you may want to reconsider working over there.
If you weren't good enough, they wud not have hired u in the first place, right? you'll just as easily get a new job - one you really deserve.
Someone in this thread also mentioned abt taking initiatives. that's an excellent idea. If you're passionate abt something and know its right,go ahead and do it. then wait and see the response. how bad can it be?
