Dear Sir
PF deduction starts once it applicable for forever
yet baisc salary more than 6500/ or 100000 .
but employer only lible to pay employer contribution up to 6500/-
And also please note an employee rejoine the company
If during the preivius service he was the pf member, and now he joined on high salary means basic more than 6500/- then by staturary requireed he entitled to same agian for same account number.

You have to deduct PF amount at 6500/- . And whose basic salary is above 6500 from joining and he is not a PF member priviously then one has to submit the copy to labour commitioner and he is the authorised person to Exempted him from PF.

Once an employee has been covered under the provisions of the PF Act and subsequently his salary increases beyond Rs.6500/- he will cntinue to be a member. You cannot exclude him from coverage just because his salary has increased beyond the prescribed ceiling of Rs,6500/-.
