Hi Guys,
I am working in a pvt. ltd company last 4.2 yrs. 4 days back my pm told me that your we are cutting your salary half, due to company financial situation. Day before he told me that we are giving you one month notice period to find a job for you.
Please advice me that is this possible to employer giving me one month notice alogn with cut my half salary.

Dear Amit K,
If your unit is covered under The Payment of Wages A ct,1936 & your wages/ salary is less than Rs.10000/pm & if your salary is deducted in an illegal manner by your employer then you can approach the Labour Office of your area for intervention in the matter & for taking necessary legal action in the matter. If the above situation is not there then you are to approach to the civil court for breach of contract in accordance of your appointment letter.

Dear Sir,
My In Hand salary is more than Rs 10K. But the employer is not giving me notice period in written, he just conveyed me verbal. Today when I discuss with him, regarding salary & notice period letter. Than he says we are giving you termination letter & that is effective from tomarrow onwards.
