Dear,

As we all know, we are required to appoint Welfare Officer(s) as per the mandate of section 49 of the Factories Act. However, when it comes to the duties, qualifications, and conditions of service of the officers, we need to refer to the relevant State Rules.

Hello Mr. Khola,

I have completed PGDM in Human Resource and am currently working as a welfare officer in a garment export company in Noida for the past year. Could you please advise me if this year has been a waste of time because I do not have a degree in MSW? I am quite concerned about my future, so I would appreciate your suggestions.

I am unsure if this field is the right fit for me. What do you recommend I do next?

Regards,
Taashi
